How long does each diorama take to create?
Each diorama is “made-to-order”. Depending on the size of the diorama, it can be anywhere from 1 day for a small 5x7 or up to 4 weeks for a large 14x22 piece. Some dioramas contain several layers and immense detail. The more complex, the more time it takes to craft. If you request a custom design or a modification to one of our catalog pieces, the crafting time can take a bit longer.
Can you ship internationally?
Because of the delicate nature of our dioramas (they are contained in glass shadow boxes) we currently do not offer international shipping. We can only ship within the U.S.
What is the best way to hang one of your dioramas?
Our dioramas are quite a bit heavier than traditional printed art work. We recommend hanging them on a reinforced hook (drilled into a wall stud or using a dry wall hanging kit). Our long 8x26 frames can also be placed on top of a mantle or book shelf.
Can you do a custom design of ANYTHING?
We love doing custom pieces! But not everything translates well into a diorama so we always start by recommending you contact us to inquire about custom designs. If one of our artists is able to satisfy your design needs, we can talk about moving forward with a commission.
